App settings
App settings control global behavior: Dunning (retry and notifications for failed billing), billing and plan, email templates link, customer portal (coming soon), shipping rates (coming soon), integrations and API (coming soon), and inline settings for payment failure, inventory failure, rewards, and upsell products.
Where to find it
In the app sidebar: **App Settings**. Three sections in the sidebar: General, Subscription, Advanced.
Settings sectionsGeneral
**Billing & Payments:** Dunning Settings (link to full Dunning page: retry attempts, notifications, final action), Billing & Plan (link to pricing). **Communications:** Email Templates (link to Email Templates). **Storefront:** Customer Portal (Coming soon).
Subscription
**Order & Shipping:** Shipping Rates (Coming soon).
Advanced
**Developer:** Integrations (Coming soon), API Access (Coming soon). Inline components: EmailSettings, BillingFailureSettings, PaymentFailureSettings, InventoryFailureSettings (notify team for inventory-related subscription issues), RewardSettings, UpsellProductSettings (link to upsell-products route).
Dunning and upsell products
**Dunning:** Full page at settings/dunning—configure retry schedule, customer and merchant notifications, and final action (cancel, keep, etc.). **Upsell products:** Standalone route at settings/upsell-products to configure products shown at checkout.
Common tasks
**Configure Dunning:** App Settings → Dunning Settings (or go to settings/dunning) → set retry attempts and intervals, enable/disable notifications, set final action → save.
