Dunning
Dunning is the process of retrying failed subscription billings and deciding what to do when all retries are used. You configure it once; it applies to all contracts.
Where to find it
**App Settings** → **Dunning Settings** → Edit. This opens the full Dunning page.
Payment failure
When a charge fails: **Retry attempts**, **Days between retries**, and **On failure** (Skip billing cycle, Pause subscription, or Cancel subscription).
Inventory failure
When billing fails due to inventory: set retry attempts, days between, **On failure**, and **Notification frequency** (Immediately, Weekly, or Monthly).
Per-contract actions
For any single contract with a failed billing, open it in Manage Subscriptions and choose retry, skip, or ignore. Dunning settings apply to automatic retries.
